Driver's Licence
Minimum age of a driver is 23 years. The hirer must be in possession of a valid, unendorsed driver’s license which should have been in force for a 2 year period.
Rates
Rates are inclusive of VAT. KMs and fuel are calculated from depot to depot. Minimum rental is 24 hours.
Meet and Greet
We are able to deliver the vehicle to the airport or to any point in Cape Town.
Extension of Rentals
Pickup Car Hire needs to be immediately informed to extend a hire and this is subject to availability. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of vehicle insurance.
One Way Hire
We are able to source you a vehicle to drop off at any point in South Africa. These will not be Pickup Car Hire vehicles and these must be requested. Pickup Car Hire cars must be returned to Cape Town.
Gravel Roads
The insurance does not cover damage to vehicles on an untarred surface.
Payment
We honour all major credit cards.
Over Border
Vehicles to be driven across South African borders are subject to a Boarder Fee and written authorization.
Accident and Theft
In the unlikely event of an accident Pickup Car Hire is to be notified within the first 24 hours. Third party details are a necessity and a police case number needs to be presented.
Additional Drivers
If the driver differs from the name on the contract they need to be added as an additional driver and there will be an additional fee. Failure to do so will result in the insurance lapsing.

All vehicles are subject to our standard rental agreement. Rates and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
